Woolsey Studio

“Our job is more than providing shelter or fitting a certain number of desks. We want to elevate the experience of living and working so that people are delighted and comforted by the spaces they occupy. Design can add value to the quality of life in a home and the bottom line for a company."

Woolsey Studio has developed a unique process that ensures that each project represents the best collaboration between our firm and our clients. Each project follows its own path but most include the following steps:

1. Establish the Constraints.
We interview you and your staff, customers, or target market to identify preferences, schedules, and budget. Then we gather information the project site and its related legal and regulatory limitations so that we understand any limitations or opportunities from the physical location of the project.

2. Create the Vision.
We provide you with several choices of design direction or plan ideas that fit the constraints and project goals. We then ask you to respond to those ideas so that we can add your experiences to our knowledge and create something that is a tight fit for your goals.

3. Make it Work.
We select all of the products and finishes that will be installed in the project so that we can make sure that they fit and work both visually and functionally. We work with our engineers to make sure that structural and technical issues are solved.

4. Communicate it.
We create the architectural drawings, product and furniture specifications, and other documents required for implementation.

5. Make it Real.
We submit the documents to appropriate regulatory agencies for permit, assist with identifying contractors or installers, and can also manage the construction process.
